Expert Musicians Wanted For Special Events

Sweet Music is actively seeking talented musicians to join our team for special events. We are looking for skilled individuals who can bring traditional music to life and create memorable experiences at various celebrations.

Guitar Player Extraordinaire: Your expertise in traditional Irish music, Celtic melodies, contradance rhythms, and the soulful strains of bluegrass will captivate and transport audiences.

Banjo Player with a Golden Voice: We need a skilled five-string banjo player proficient in Scruggs or Keith style, capable of accompanying their incredible play with a strong vocal performance, ideally in a baritone or tenor range.

As part of our team, you'll perform at weddings, parties, and other events, spreading joy and creating unforgettable moments. We value dedication and ask for your commitment to rehearse regularly at our location in Granby, MA.

Independent Sales Contractor

Ideal for individuals embracing a mobile lifestyle, this fully remote position allows you to drive your career forward from wherever you are. As an Independent Sales Contractor, you'll leverage social media to connect with potential students globally and promote our music lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential students via social media.
  • Communicate with prospects to secure enrollments, focusing on year-long commitments.
  • Adapt communication methods to suit various time zones and cultural preferences.

This role is commission-based:

  • Earn the equivalent of one month of the student’s contract value for each year-long sign-up.
  • For shorter commitments, earn 100% of one lesson’s cost after the student completes four paid lessons.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Digital proficiency, especially with social media and CRM tools.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for music and adaptability to different cultures and time zones.

Sweet Music USA, based in Granby, Massachusetts, offers this position with the flexibility to work from any location, provided you have a reliable internet connection. We're So Back! In-Person Lessons Return to Granby, MA

Private Lessons and Group Classes are now in-person again at our location in Granby, Massachusetts! We still offer remote lessons as a convenience for students who are more than 25 minutes away from our location, or inclement weather, but as most students (and our teachers!) prefer in person lessons, they are really the best way to get the most out of your lesson experience. Here's how to start: Fill out the registration form on this page .  Don't forget to include your optimal lesson time.  We are available 1-7pm, Monday - Friday. Some teachers may be available on the weekends, so please ask. Plan to arrive at the studio at least ten minutes before your lesson starts.  You may sit in your car, or if the weather is warm enough, on the sun porch prior to your lesson.   We will start promptly at the agreed-upon time.  If you are late, there may be a problem, so please don't put your teacher through that.  Schedules are tight because we try to fit everyon...
